ABCD joined more than a thousand Community Action Agencies nationwide this May to celebrate Community Action Month. ABCD provides vital services that impact more than 100,000 people in Greater Boston every year. Our work enables them to improve their quality of life and achieve economic stability. We exist to provide pathways out of poverty.
Like all Community Action Agencies, not only are we rooted in the neighborhoods we serve, but we listen to our neighbors to develop programs that provide the most effective solutions. We assist individuals and families to help them avert crises, and we deliver a range of proven and innovative programs that provide pathways out of poverty – and toward a better future.
