BOSTON – Action for Boston Community Development hosted its annual Community Heroes Celebration on Nov. 3, 2023, to honor 18 individuals who dedicate themselves to bettering the Greater Boston area. Headlining the evening with an inspiring keynote conversation centered around gun violence was host of MSNBC’s The Last Word, Lawrence O’Donnell, and Tennessee State Representative Justin J. Pearson.
