Every year on Women’s History Month, the Mayor’s Office of Women’s Advancement (MOWA) opens nominations to honor the positive impact and leadership of women who make Boston a world-class city.

Bianny Suncar, Director of the ABCD Mattapan Family Service Center, has been selected by the City of Boston’s Office of Women’s Advancement as one of 50 EXTRAordinary Women in the city for Women’s History Month.
Born and raised in Boston, MA and of Dominican descent, Bianny Suncar, currently serves as the Director of ABCD’s Mattapan Family Service Center. She has been with ABCD for over 14 years serving many different roles all towards helping the communities of Boston. Bianny holds a Masters in Public Administration from Suffolk University and a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from UMass Boston.
