Toy distribution begins December 16th!

(Boston, MA) – ABCD’s Winter Fund is seeking cash as well as in-kind donations toward Fuel and Housing Assistance, holiday toys, winter clothing and food to help under-resourced and under-represented individuals and families across Greater Boston who are in need this winter season. A partial list of Winter Fund donors include: Encore Boston, Environments at Work, Gaston Electrical, Highwire PR, MerlinOne, Pathai, RBC Wealth Management, SEI, Target, Teamster Local 25 Team and Yahoo!

ABCD President and CEO Sharon Scott-Chandler, Esq., expressed her gratitude for both the cash and in-kind donations from past donors to the Winter Fund, and hopes more companies and individuals will heed the call to support the needs of children, families and seniors during this tough economic period.

“Collaboration is at the core of our work. Through the support of community partners, last year, ABCD services reached nearly 90,000 people across Greater Boston, many of whom had not asked for help before. ABCD is beyond appreciative for the support from our community partners in our efforts to provide basic services and innovative programs for people who are struggling, especially during the holidays and winter season,” she said. “With soaring inflation, food and energy costs all at once, the needs are even more critical.”
