Ziquelle Smalls serves in a Private Sector Seat representing the Greater Boston Labor Council – AFL-CIO. Smalls is a Senior Organizer of the Green Justice Coalition (GJC) at Community Labor United, where they advance campaigns that build power within both power-building community organizations and labor unions to promote a sustainable green economy. With deep roots and a family history in environmental justice and working-class communities in Roxbury, Ziquelle has been organizing in Boston, MA, with various organizations for over a decade. They have been building and leading multi-issue campaigns, and deep leadership development with groups like Alternatives for Community and Environment (ACE), Youth Justice & Power Union, and The City School.
Smalls joined the ABCD Board of Directors in 2024 and serves as a member of the Employment & Training/Youth Committee and the Energy & Fuel Assistance Committee.
