Rita Covan-Reid serves in a Neighborhood Sector seat representing the East Boston area on the East Boston Area Planning Action Council (APAC) Advisory Board. She previously worked as an intake coordinator guardianship liaison for the chronically mentally ill at Dimock. She currently volunteers for the food Pop Up program at the East Boston APAC. Covan-Reid has a BA in human services and a Master’s Degree in management from Leslie College. Covan-Reid joined the ABCD Board of Directors in 2022 and serves on the Head Start & Child Care Resources and Education Committee.
