Representing Boston City Councilor Kim Janey

Angela Williams-Mitchell serves is a Public Sector seat representing Councilor Kim Janey. She is a long-standing resident of Roxbury, a retired Boston Police Officer, and the first woman and Hispanic elected President of the Massachusetts Association of Minority Law Enforcement Officers. Williams-Mitchell holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice Human Services from Springfield College, Springfield, MA, and a Master’s degree in Criminal Justice and Urban Affairs from Boston University.

Williams-Mitchell joined the ABCD Board of Directors in 2018 and she serves as a member of the Employment & Training/Youth Committee and the Neighborhood Programs/ Planning & Evaluation (NPPE) Committee.
