The MassHire Boston ABCD Career Centeris anexpansion of ABCD’s role in the workforce development arena with low-income communities — in 2020 ABCD became the operator of the MassHire Metro North Career Center with locations in Cambridge, Chelsea, Malden and Woburn.

“This new location at 10 Malcolm X Boulevard is further illustration of our commitment to be centrally and locally basedin the communities with whom we have been collaborating since our inception in 1962,” said ABCD President and CEO Sharon Scott-Chandler.  “We are thankful for our partners at the City of Boston, the Boston PIC and the Massachusetts Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development for helping make this career center a reality. Our state of the art facility improves access, support, and opportunity for all jobseekers and local employers, and enhances our efforts to educate, train and connect jobseekers to economically sustainable employment.”
