Who Qualifies?

In addition to serving eligible residents of Boston, Brookline and Newton, we serve the Mystic Valley cities and towns of Malden, Medford, Everett, Melrose, Winchester, Woburn and Stoneham. If you are an ABCD Fuel Assistance LIHEAP) client, you’ll also qualify for ABCD’s Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP). 

ABCD follows federal guidelines based on your annual income and how many people are in your family. Your gross family income must be at or below 60% of the Massachusetts median income.

Warm, Cool, Cozy

With assistance from our partners National Grid and Eversource, ABCD’s Weatherization Assistance Program helps make your home more energy efficient and comfortable while also lowering your energy costs and helping the environment.

Attic and wall insulation, weather stripping, air sealing, and heating system repairs are available to you at no cost, whether you have oil, gas or electric heat. These conservation measures have been estimated to lower heating bills by 25-35% each year.
