Attorney Patricia Groves focuses her practice on governmental affairs, compliance & HIPAA privacy and administrative law. Now in her 20th year of private law practice, she has gained a wide variety of experience representing clients before the Social Security Administration, Workers’ Compensation Board and in the Federal Court system.
She has a history of success leading strategic and operational initiatives within startup and well-established law firms and companies; conducting workshops; public speaking presentations and training sessions on HIPAA compliance, the Social Security Disability process; and providing consulting and legal support services to law firms and disability companies.
Groves received her Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Law Degree and Master of Science in Political Science. Currently, she is enrolled in the Insurance Law LL.M. program at the University of Connecticut School of Law, Hartford, Connecticut.
Groves joined the ABCD Board of Directors in 2017, and she serves as a member of the Energy and Fuel Assistance Committee and the Grievance Committee.
