Maren Tober

Representing Boston City Councilor at Large Ayanna Pressley

Maren Tober serves in a Public Sector Seat representing Boston City Councilor at Large Ayanna Pressley.  Tober works at Prospect Hill Academy Charter School as a Campus Family Ambassador and as a Farmer’s Market Manager and Community Garden Coordinator for the South Boston Neighborhood Development Corporation. Raised in East-Berlin, Germany, she volunteered her time to establish a botanic garden in the Western province of Pinar del Rio, Cuba, as part of a gap year after graduating from high school.  After returning to Germany, she earned a degree as a Commercial Assistant for Incoming Tourism.  Tober is currently attending Urban College of Boston where she expects to obtain her Associates Degree in Human Service Administration.  She is passionate about community activism and serves on various advisory groups, committees and organizations that serve children, families and the disadvantaged.

Tober joined the ABCD Board of Directors in 2014, and she serves as a member of the Elder Services Committee.
