SUMMARY:Birthing Justice Screening
DESCRIPTION:ABCD Health Services invites you to a free community screening of “Birthing Justice.” in recognition of Black Maternal Health Week\, This moving and award-winning film demonstrates the complex obstacles Black women experience when accessing the reproductive and maternal healthcare systems. \nA panel discussion exploring Black maternal health\, infant mortality\, and health inequities will follow the screening. The panel will be moderated by ABCD Health Services Medical Director Dr. Frinny Polanco Walters. Panelists include Dr. Ndidiamaka Amutah-Onukagha (Tufts University)\, Tiffany Vassell\, RN (Neighborhood Birth Center)\, and Sharon T. Callendar\, RN\, MPH (Mattapan Community Health Center). \nFree giveaways will be available on a first-come\, first-served basis. Light refreshments will be served. The film screening and panel are both free to attend but please RSVP at bostonabcd.org/birthingjustice
