Solar panels recently installed atop a public housing development in Jamaica Plain will reduce the city’s hot-water bill for the complex by about 40 percent, officials said.
A ribbon cutting was held on Thursday to celebrate completion of a solar energy project at the Woburn Housing Authority’s senior housing building at 59 Campbell St.
WOBURN -The hierarchy of the Woburn Housing Authority and the office of Mayor Scott Galvin are all smiles these days with the implementation of solar panels atop the senior housing complex at 59 Campbell St.
